      Bringing Harmony to North Staffordshire

Introduction Aims & History Special Projects

THE CHOIR meets every week on Tuesday night at the Bishop Rawle School, Royal Walk, Cheadle, Staffordshire. - (Near to the Hospital!) - We meet for a 7:30pm start, and sing until around 9:30pm.

ANYBODY who thinks that he might enjoy singing with us will be made very welcome. We have no singing tests, and contrary to popular thinking there is little need to be able to read music! It helps, but this comes with practice.

MUSIC is expensive, and since photocopying is not an acceptable practice these days, we sing from new music sheets all the time. Thus we make a charge of £1.00 each night, to defray the cost of the music that we must buy, and the hire of the hall that we use.

WE ALSO tend to meet again after practice whenever the possibility arises, to enjoy a fellowship drink. After most Tuesday evening practice nights we can be located usually at the Huntsman public house, on the road out of Cheadle towards Blythe Bridge from 9:45pm onwards. All are welcome!

WE WOULD be very pleased to meet anybody who wishes to join us. Just come along! N.B. the drink is NOT compulsory!!!
