OVER THE YEARS the Choir has developed a definite family feel, with many communal events organised during the year. We usually kick the year off to a good start by running our own New Year Festivity, and the choir members also enjoy an Annual Dinner sometime in the Autumn. We have also organised a Barn Dance and a Country Walk during the summer. SPECIAL PROJECTS over the past years have included a trip to GERMANY and our ANNUAL CONCERTS both of which we enjoyed. The first Annual Concert managed to raise nearly £400 for the local parish church, and we feel confident that we will have better attendance in future years. WE HAVE ALSO arranged a singing link with The Luton MVC to make music together at a weekend training event in Eastbourne, following our successful joint concerts in London at The Grosvenor House hotel Park Lane, and at Hampton Court. IN 2001 WE TOOK our lives in our own hands and made a CD record of our singing, which was certainly an interesting experience. The quality is good, but now we must sell the records to cover our costs. If you are interested to purchase a copy, then any of the Choir Officials would be happy to supply. P.S.
